What you will do

The Inside Sales Representative's goal is to reach out to customers via phone and e-mail in order to sell additional services and products to our existing customer base. The team's goal is to add value to our customers and help grow our recurring revenue base.

The Inside Sales Representative will report directly to the Inside Sales manager who reports to the Unit Manager. This strategic position will work with the larger team to generate revenue by upselling products and services. As a member of this team, you will work within a dynamic environment that works directly with our existing sales organization on a local and national level. You will be responsible to achieve established goals, related to your proposals and sales for the programs we are running. You will reach out to this base, propose a solution, book the job and manage the funnel of all proposed and closed jobs.

How you will do it

As an Inside Sales Representative you will be empowered to work the leads associated with our various programs and make decisions on the best way to engage our customers. You will manage multiple priorities simultaneously because of your excellent planning, organization, and time management skills. You are customer focused, and you will need to be understanding, patient and sympathetic to the needs of our customers. You also understand that internal and external collaboration drives success and best practice.

  • Sales achievements - meeting and exceeding financial targets where adherence to predetermined metrics is closely monitored, analyzed, and enforced.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of each stage of the sales cycle and process

What we look for

Required

  • Minimum of three years of business experience, preferably at a Retailer, a Consumer Goods Product Company or at JCI in a sales, marketing or product position.
  • Minimum of three years with a proven track record selling from an Inside Sales Perspective.

Preferred

  • Two or four year college degree preferred
  • Solid understanding of the security sales and contracting process
  • Familiarity with MSOffice suite including Excel
  • Proficiency in sales negotiation skills (tactics, techniques, strategies)
  • Entrepreneurial attitude, leadership ability and ability to be a team player at all levels.
  • Ability to understand a supply chain for various industries and its component companies.
  • Ability to understand and contribute to the development of a business plan, including sales andMarketing strategies.
  • Will meet performance and activity metrics.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
