Positions located at the Bethany Crisis Shelter (youth ages birth - 17), Renaissance Transitional Living (youth 16-21) and Another Door Emergency Shelter (youth 18-24). As a Sr Youth Worker (Facility-Based non-driver), you will provide a welcoming, safe and supportive environment for youth. You will assure all basic needs are met, provide encouragement and guidance, and assist youth with setting and attaining goals. Sr Youth Workers conduct intakes and assessments, develop positive and trusting relationships, and help youth to identify and remove barriers to stability in their lives. Staff respond to crisis and emergent needs of youth who are in their care. Staff also provide transportation for youth to and from appointments, school and work.

No experience is required. We provide training, supervision and support to help you learn and grow.

  • Must be at least 19 years old and have a high school diploma or GED.
  • Must be able to pass a background check.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and be able to pass a motor vehicle records check.

Position is eligible for a $1000 new hire bonus. $500 to be paid after 3 months and at least 200 hours worked and remaining $500 to be paid after 6 months and at least 400 hours worked. In order to be eligible and receive the new hire bonus, the new hire must fulfill the scheduled shifts hired for, have completed all required training, and meet performance expectations as determined by the supervisor and next level management.
